Tony Adcock uses his 21 years of automotive experience to assist you with your automotive internet purchase. Danville is his hometown and where he resides with his wife, Lynn and their two daughters, Sarah and Kate. Tony attended Danville Community College and James Madison University. Jim has been with us for 26 years and is our resident UNC fan. Jim is always willing to discuss University of North Carolina sports or anything related to Chapel Hill with you. Jim grew up in Milton NC and though a resident of Danville, still recieves mail at PO Box 1, Milton NC 27305. Jim attends Milton UMC where he has been a life long member. He loves to attend races at VIR and recalls attending races there in the early days. Jim is a Air Force and Vietnam Veteran where he served on a Jolly Green Giant on search and rescue missions. Jim also loves local and regional history. He is married and with a daughter and grandchild.
Danny Carlton

Danny has been with Blackwell Automotive for 22 years. Yanceyville NC is his hometown where he graduated from Bartlett-Yancey HS and later attended Gardner Webb University. Danny is a US Air Force and Vietnam Veteran where he first enjoyed his hobby of photography. He is also an avid water skier along with scuba and surfing. Danny was on the Board of Directors on the local March of Dimes chapter. Working at Blackwell helps him indulge in his love of sports cars. He is a member of Mount Hermon Baptist Church. He as been married for 26 years and has three grown children, three grandchildren, and one on the way.
Wayne Crawford

Wayne has 20 years of automotive experience. A lifelong Danville resident, he graduated from GWHS, class of '58. He was a US Army veteran, serving in the 82nd Airborne and a former police officer with the Danville Police Department. Wayne retired from the Virginia DMV before entering the auto industry. He is a golf enthusiast and a member of St Marks Pentacostal Church. He is married and has three grown children and five grandchildren.
Kermit Garrett

Kermit has spent his entire auto career at Blackwell and has 9 years of experience. Prior, he is a US Army vet and spent nearly 30 years at DuPont in Martinsville VA. He is a lifelong area resident and member of Greenwood Baptist Church in Axton. Kermit enjoys weightlifting and physical fitness, along with music and Westerns. He is an avid gun collector. Also a car buff, he counts amount his collection a '64 Ford Fastback, '68 Dodge Dart, and '75 Corvette Stingray. A sports enthusiast, some may recall him coaching teams for his 2 sons. Kermit is married and has a new granddaughter.
Mark Greer

Mark is the newest member of our team, bringing 15 years of outside sales experience with him. Mark's decision to join our team was influenced by his positive sales and service experiences while a long time customer of Blackwell Automotive. He grew up in Bassett VA and graduated from Bassett HS. Mark likes to fish. He is the youth leader and sound technician at Riverview Baptist Church. He is married with two school age children.
Jody Pollard

Jody has been with Blackwell Automotive for 6 years. He was a manager at Dan River Mills for 20 years. Jody also worked as a baseball umpire with the Virginia High School League. Jody is our resident Duke basketball fan and enjoys hunting and fishing. A life long Danville resident, he is a member of Schoolfield Pentacostal Holiness Church and also an ordained minister. Jody is married with four grown children and five grandchildren.
Robert Tucker

Though here for 5 years, Robert brings 22 years of automotive experience with him. Robert is a life long resident of Pittsylvania County in the Gretna area. He has served in the US Army and holds a BS from Averett University. Robert also holds a Divinity degree from Virginia Union University and is pastor of Sunflower Baptist Church in Halifax County. He is a self described "Gentleman Farmer" and also like to swim, hunt and fish if he can find the time. Robert is married and has two children.
